Spring Cleaning Tips for your Apartment-image

Spring is just around the corner which means it’s time to grab your mops and vacuums out of storage for a deep and refreshing spring cleaning!  We here at Acero Eastmark know it can be hard to figure out where to start when it comes to deep cleaning your apartment homes so we wanted to share some spring cleaning tips with you that are sure to leave your apartment sparkling clean for spring!   Tip #1: Clean one room at a time. Spring cleaning an entire apartment can seem like an overwhelming task. To make the task less daunting, try only focusing on one room at a time. When you’re finished with one room that can help motivate you to start on another. While you can clean multiple rooms at a time, it can sometimes make the task seem never-ending and more difficult than it actually is. It also never hurts to have a spring cleaning checklist for each room in the apartment.   Tip #2: Start at the top and work your way down. This may seem obvious but it’s easy to forget when faced with the time-consuming task of spring cleaning. Always start by dusting any ceiling fans or light fixtures in the room, then simply continuing to dust all surfaces as you make your way to the floor. Essentially you just need to remember to clean each room from top to bottom.   Tip #3: Start with the rooms you hate cleaning the most. Starting with rooms you’re not looking forward to cleaning can help motivate and keep you on track for your spring cleaning. Once you’ve done the hardest rooms, the other rooms will feel like a breeze.    Tip #4: Stock up on supplies. When you start deep cleaning a room, you never want to be hit with the realization that you’ve run out of the cleaning product or supplies you needed to finish the room. Make a list before starting each room while visualizing the steps you’ll take to deep clean each room in your apartment, this way you’re less likely to forget a product that you might need in your spring cleaning process.   Tip #5: Take Breaks. Breaks are essential to avoid burnout when spring cleaning your apartment. If you don’t take breaks you’re more likely to put in less effort and take more time cleaning each room. If you give yourself a break after each room, you’re more likely to spend less time cleaning the room and you’ll also feel more energized and ready to tackle the next room.  We invite you to learn more about the area surrounding our Acero Eastmark apartments so that you can see all the wonderful things this city has to offer. The Great Outdoors of Mesa-image

We all know Arizona is home to sunshine and canyons, but we have much more to offer than just the Grand Canyon. If you’re new to the area, we want to make sure your adventures go further than obvious spots around our community. We want to highlight five big attractions and some smaller gems you may not know about.    Here are our top five outdoor attractions in and around Acero Eastmark.  1. Saguaro Lake Kayaking Wanting to explore our waterways? We recommend jumping in your car and heading to Saguaro Lake for some kayaking. You have the ability to venture to the lower salt river and see the cliffs and canyons created by this natural waterway. Their rentals are around 2.5 hours, plenty of time to take in all the beauty this area has to offer. Make a day of it by bringing a picnic and relaxing by the lake before heading home to Acero Eastmark. 2. The Rose Garden at MCC Do you want to explore Mesa's floral areas? We would point you in the direction of The Rose Garden at MCC. This location is home to over 9000 bushes of beautiful roses in the middle of our desert landscape. Students around Mesa use this garden to help study agriculture and biology during their lessons. We also would like to point out the rose is Arizona's national flower so you'll learn some educational aspects of our state as well when visiting. 3. Wind Cave Trail Needing a few new hikes to conquer? We can't get enough of the Wind Cave Trail with it also only being a short distance from our apartments. This is more of an advanced hikers trail due to it being pretty rocky and 3 miles there and back. The workout is worth the view of boulders and canyons along the way. The end destination will give you a view you're glad you worked for. 4. Saguaro Trail Wanting a hike for the whole family including your dog? We recommend Saguaro Trail for a higher climb but only a roundtrip distance of 2.3 miles. The views of red canyons and gorgeous desert will make sure the huffing and puffing are going to be worth it. We hear the sunsets on this peak are magical, so why not bring a couple of snacks and enjoy the sunset over our beautiful state. 5. Falcon Hill Park. Needing a picnic spot without making it a whole day adventure? Our favorite park in Mesa is definitely Falcon Hill Park. WIth their basketball courts, playgrounds, and greenery, your quick midday lunch could turn into a mini outdoor exploration. This is a perfect place to spend your lunch hour out of the office or even for Sunday brunch. We hope you find this guide helpful when exploring the great outdoor activities our state has to offer around Acero Eastmark. Happy adventuring, residents!
